Dennis Rodman Death Hoax Shocks Internet on April Fool’s Day
Dennis Rodman almost “died” yesterday—at least according to the internet. But fans quickly learned not everything online is true, especially on April 1st.
Dennis Rodman Isn’t Dead—He’s Just Too Legendary
“They had bets in Vegas when I was 40 years old about what year I was going to die,” Dennis Rodman once said. Yesterday, April 1, 2025, that prediction nearly came true… at least in the eyes of the internet.

It all began when parody accounts on X and Facebook posted fake news claiming that the NBA Hall of Famer had been found dead in his apartment. Of course, the timing—April Fool’s Day—should’ve raised some eyebrows. But it didn’t stop fans from panicking. Google searches spiked. People mourned. The rumor spread like wildfire.
Classic Rodman Response
But this is DR we’re talking about. The man who wore wedding dresses, hung with Kim Jong Un, and basically redefined “unpredictable.” A little death hoax wasn’t going to rattle him.
Instead of issuing a dramatic statement, Rodman clapped back with a perfect Instagram post:
“Yesss Sirr Alive and Well. 👍🏾 What’s up”
Short, sweet, and 100% Rodman.
Don’t Believe Everything You Read Online
In the end, the internet got punked—hard. April Fool’s Day strikes again. But it also reminded us that Rodman is still larger than life, and no amount of fake news can bring down the Worm.
